You’re in Hong Kong. Welcome to my city.

I’m…gonna guess we’re not on Spira anymore? -She tilted her head, not exactly sure how she got here—again. She really had to start paying more attention.-
xx-that-badass-hong-konger-xx:
Either or’s fine. I don’t really mind, but you can call me Leon.

Heh—that works! Leon sounds easier for me to remember, anyway. -looks around them- So, um, where are we?
Of course Cloud’s own secret to achieving such naturally good looks is— that there isn’t a secret. The black-clad man could really care less on his own physical appearance — with the exception of his own solemn demeanor. As long as he didn’t show his sadness around his friends and cause worry to them, then he was fine. Though, since this other girl was a mere stranger for him, he can go full-out reserved on her.So, she was another newcomer— different from the others since he had encountered them outside, but that piece of information didn’t seem important right now so it wasn’t worth mentioning at all. She did as those common questions besides ‘who are you?’ — which he expected to hear soon since his name hadn’t been given out yet.
Glancing at the bar, then back at the foreigner, the man’s mako-infused hues were glowing brightly, though appeared quite moody as usual. “.. Edge.” He shortly responded, believing this girl was just going to bring him into a meet-and-greet conversation then wander off and never meet her again.
Something was off about this guy.
The blonde pursed her lips, not exactly sure what it was. It wasn’t anything about how he replied to her or the expression on his face, but there was definitely something there. And Rikku being as curious as she was, couldn’t help but try and figure it out.
But first, figuring out where she was.
“Edge, huh?” She repeated, tilting her head a bit as she thought back on the many places she had been to. “Never heard of it before.” Shaking her head, she stepped inside completely, looking around at the bar. It wasn’t the first bar she had been to, but it was definitely probably the cleanest. Not that she had been to many bars int he first place, of course.
“So, um, are you the owner of this place, then?” It was just idle talk, she knew, but maybe if she got him talking, she could figure out why he looked so….sad. “Oh, I’m Rikku! It’s nice to meet you!”
xx-that-badass-hong-konger-xx:
*blinks* I’m Jia-Long. Some call me Leon. Nice to meet you. *smiles a bit*

Jia…Long? Nice name! -tilts her head- Which name do you prefer? -grins- Nice to meet ‘cha too!
Rosen hair whipped against her cheek as she squinted in the aftermath of the beast’s roar, shield raised in defense against the onslaught of grains as she stepped in front of her sudden ally.
“And how the hell are we supposed to get away from that?”
Her yell was nearly swallowed with the winds, the grains tearing into her skin as the beast reared back, the warrior unsure of its movement. Stepping backwards, Lightning pressed her arm into the smaller woman, doing her best to move her out of harm’s way. The armor clad woman spun on her heel, leaping atop the newcomer as the worm dove into the sand, a wave spilling outwards from the epicenter.
“Are you okay?”
The roseate struggled under the weight of the sand, pushing up onto all fours as her comrade lay beneath her, unharmed. She fought the hiss daring to escape as the hot grains wedged themselves into open wounds, head whipping over her shoulder as she worked to her feet. Offering an outstretched arm, the champion of the goddess reached for the younger girl. Fingertips barely touching, the ground beneath them gave way, erupting with a horrific snarl as the worm resurfaced.
“Move!”
With barely enough time to think, Lightning cast an aero spell, sending the smaller woman out of reach.
Despite never knowing what was going to happen in these situations, this definitely wasn’t one of them. She just wanted to distract the stupid worm enough for them to escape. As unpredictable as it was, she and the other Gullwings were almost always able to run away—and when they weren’t, they had each other.
This time it was just Rikku and a woman she didn’t even know the name of.
A yelp escaped her lips as the pinkette covered her, the sheer unexpectedness throwing her off, shutting her eyes from the sands that whipped around them. This wasn’t good. They were just sitting ducks out here.
“Are you okay?”
“Shouldn’t I be asking you that?” She retorted, sitting up as the other female struggled to get back on her feet. She was just about to ask if she needed help when the older woman did so herself. A hand was extended—a kind gesture one was to be sure, something that didn’t often happen around the deserts of Bikanel, despite the changes that were happening around Spira—and the blonde reached up to take it.
If that fiend hadn’t come back, throwing their sense of balance off once more, their hands would have met. It didn’t help that she cast that Aero spell.
Letting out a soft curse, Rikku back-flipped in order to land on her feet, her hands immediately grasping her garment grid and pressing the appropriate node without so much as a glance.
A bright light surrounded her, encasing her as her current dressphere and Al Bhed gear fell away, the light dimming to reveal dark, spiked armor and large sword in hand. Dark Knight wasn’t a dressphere Rikku would normally use out here in the desert, considering how hot and bulky the armor was. Already the blonde could feel the weight pressing down on her, the heat coming along with it. Ignoring it, she let out a cry, running toward the worm as tendrils of light began to surround her sword. She passed the pinkette, ignoring what she was doing in that aero spell, and swung.
It was at times like these that she was glad she and the other Gullwings had bothered to take the time to master this dressphere. Break would have taken longer to gain the energy that needed, but with it mastered, it took half the time.
“Take this!” she yelled, gripping her sword tighter as it collided with the fiend. Its’ roar was cut off as its body began to petrify at the point of impact, encasing its entire body in a shell of stone.
Rikku landed on her feet and wasted no time in heading toward the unknown woman. “Come on!” She grabbed the other’s wrist with her free hand, running toward the base.
Their scuffle with surely attract more fiends.
xx-that-badass-hong-konger-xx:
Hey there. Who’re you?

“Hiya!” The girl greeted, grinning. She skipped over, all smiles. “Name’s Rikku—who’re you?”
Message from God to Hope: “Let’s\(・ω・)/にゃー!”
” …. what? “
Message from God to Rikku: “Clean your room!”

“But my room’s still buried at Home! I don’t wanna clean all that rubble!”
“Whoa whoa, calm down there heh.”She chucked at the girl’s enthusiasm not knowing exactly what she got herself into. The girl was pretty, no doubt about it, though she was definitely not from around here.
“Rikku huh? So then, where are ya from?”

Grinning, the blonde forced herself to stop moving on her heels, though now she looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings. She really had to stop wandering off and start looking where she was going.
“I’m from Spira! Bikanel Desert, to be precise.” The blonde crossed her arms, raising a hand to rest under her chin. “And where are we?”
disasterrific—rikku started following you
Kyouko looked up at the tall blond standing in front of her. With a grin and an eyebrow lifted in a cocky manner she greeted the girl.
“Sup! I’m Kyouko Sakura… but you can call me Kyouko.”
The Al Bhed blinked, tilting her head. She wasn’t exactly sure why or how she had gotten here nor did she remember how the other girl got in front of her. Grinning, the blonde waved, bouncing a bit on her heels.
“Heya! Nice to meet you~ I’m Rikku!”
